Kremlin: Russia adapts to continuing US sanctions pressure

MOSCOW, Nov 14 (PRIME) -- The U.S. has not abandoned its sanctions aspirations, but Russia has adapted to the conditions and is acting in its interests, spokesman for the president Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.

"Of course, we understand that the U.S. authorities have not abandoned their sanction aspirations in some form,” he said.

“But nevertheless we are adapting and acting in the way that best suits our interests."

Peskov commented on the news about a the U.S. Department of the Treasury request to check 100 tankers that could have carry Russian oil bypassing sanctions.
